What have we done!

Published on Wednesday 4th February, 2015

We're taking part in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge on 13th June and we're supporting our local children's charity - Forget Me Not Children's Hospice - we hope you will help us to help them...

Our team, made up of four Damika employees, pictured right (from left to right) - Craig Newton, Carl Meade, Mark Lund & Philip Hobbs are taking on this tough challenge with sheer grit and determination.

Challenge routes will remain a closely guarded secret until the day of the event but we do know that we have to navigate our way round on foot, by canoe and on bike.

We chose Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice based in Huddersfield as they care for families who have children with life shortening conditions. They support these families in many different ways to make their lives just a little bit easier. This could be by giving them a break as they take the role of carer both in the hospice and in their home, or by providing hydrotherapy or music therapy. The care team spends time with brothers and sisters to give them the time and attention they deserve and are there for families, supporting them when they have to say goodbye to their child for the last time.

Please help us to raise as much money as possible for this very worthy cause by clicking on the link below and giving us a donation. We really appreciate your support.
