Cheesy Bacon Fries
- 3 rashers streaky bacon, chopped
- 100g cheese, grated
- 800g potatoes, peeled & chipped
- oil for frying
- ranch dressing, optional
Place the bacon in a frying pan and cook over a medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned. Drain bacon on paper towels.
Fry the chips in the oil, or bake until golden brown & crisp.
Preheat the grill to medium-high.
Place the cooked chips in an oven proof dish. Sprinkle them with the grated cheese and bacon.
Grill until the cheese has melted.
Serve with Ranch dressing if required.
